Who we are
The Templar History Museum is an interactive space for the whole family.
Guests of the museum will travel through time, where they can not only learn the medieval history of the island, but also test the weight of swords and armour, shoot bows, try on costumes, make a photos.
The museum is a volunteer project and it introduces not only chivalry, but also the history of volunteering... Helping the needy, protecting the weak is not only the code of chivalry, it is also the code of volunteers.
The space of the museum is multifunctional. Here you can not only visit the museum. This is the space of the youth volunteer centre. It is a place where Erasmus Plus and European Solidarity Corps programmes are implemented.
The museum is a place where children from different countries meet to learn how to be good volunteers to help the village and make the world a better place.
For us, the era of the Knights Templar Hospitallers is a romantic story that helps to teach young people to take responsibility for the world around them.
The history of the Knights Templar and Hospitallers teaches that helping others and supporting those who need help is possible at any time. That if you want to, you can make the world a better place.
